Yvonne Bridges, a nurse by trade but writer at heart, always had the passion for writing Inspirational books. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA., she worked with ailing people of all ages, yet the adolescent generation are who she enjoyed reaching out to the most. One day while riding the train, the Holy Spirit spoke to Yvonne Bridges which led to her first teenage novel, "Everbody Gets Tried". Real to her own life as far as growing up and doing things her way, Yvonne Bridges decided to dedicate her life to Christ, in hopes that this Urban book would help guide young girls in the right direction. Yvonne Bridges now resides in Delaware with her husband and their children, continuing her inspirational journey to write African American Literature for youths all over.
